Round 5- “Changing the game”

Last night was A Tribal. New slyvain went in knowing we would stay strong as a 7 voting block and place all of our vote on Iqra as she was the least likely to play an idol and was considered to be a wild card flipping on votes twice already in this game (which imo would hurt old slyvain if Jason Kristine and Chris thought they could use her in a vote). As a new tribe we started off strong making connections with Sam and Spencer and mesh well. Lucky for us the same could not be said about the new Dreyfus which seemed extremely divided and rightfully so. I think Brandon Torry and Kyle may have tried to strong arm the old Slyvain since they were the minority on that side and knowing my old allies that does not go over so well. As expected my Jason had something wild up his sleeve wrangling in Chris and Kristine to throw the vote to our favor. They’re smart enough to know now they we’ll be evenly matched 3 v 3 on their new side and I think we did our best over here to set it up well for them to have a fighting chance. One mistake Jason did make though was blowing up Sams idol at tribal possibly exposing the fact I gave her one to Elyse and Devon. Another factor was Kyle completely loosing his shit and attacking me (never spoke to the dude a day in my life). He seemed to wanted to be herd and thought he had it all figured out claiming I had an idol or knew where they were that just shows me he’s reactive to any nonsense information he’s given. A personal problem I do not have time to help him figure out...that being said the plan I was included in panned through and iqra was sent packing my allies are in a better position and I think Jason is smart enough to target Kyle next. I have to continue managing the players on my tribe so I do not become a target but my biggest asset at this point is my nugget Grace that will continue to work with me to get this win. Strategically I have to change up my playing style as I can’t be as much of a stealth shooter and more have to go into open combat with calculated moves. Things are changing and the new blood on our team is going to play an important part.
