With such a quick turn around AND two people going home tonight, I wanted to put some thoughts out before the chaos begins.
As I mentioned leading up to the vote, that was such a messy and bad round for Grace and Alex. That's two in a row for them. They keep cutting/watching their closest allies go. They should have "Stuck to the plan" as Keith Nale would put it. Devon should have been voted out, but their own paranoia of Jason (or one of them) getting blindsided came to fruition from their own mismanagement of the round.
However, after the round was over, Grace has been playing the best to restore faith in not voting with Dreyfus. Alex has been having a pity party and it's not working well for him. He looks especially week right now and people are ready to take him out. Grace has a little more gusto, and rightfully so, since she has found the hidden immunity idol.
The most interesting play is Devon. He's getting a lot of props for last round (even though he had nothing to do with it). He's already public enemy number one, but since he doesn't talk to anyone, the paranoia sits with Alex and Grace.
That being said, the Dreyfus 4 are planning so far down the line (all of their conversations have included "who's your final four?") that Sam and Brandon are starting to get very paranoid. Sam is playing pretty well, but her instincts are so spot on that it might cause chaos to send her ass home in the second vote (or maybe even first vote) tonight. I think the problem is that Sam keeps saying "we are going to make a big move for the second vote" and she's planning on voting Grace out, which isn't a big move. There's a problem because now everyone wants to make a big move tonight OR their senses are heightened to Sam wanting to take out a big name. Either way, Sam needs immunity in the second vote tonight (if she gets that far).
Spencer and Torry are probably in the best positions tonight. No one has mentioned their names, although Sam is catching on to how close they are. Spencer and Torry are working with Devon, so there's a possibility of a shake up on the first vote tonight. I think with as much as Sam and Brandon are fucking with Alex and Grace, it will be easy to get a five vote of Spencer, Torry, Devon, Alex and Grace to take out Sam. It's the smartest move and Spencer is playing the best game right now. I would say this would solidify him winning if he can make this vote happen. After Sam is gone, Brandon is so weak. Jessie is weak. It will be Grace who will most likely run to their aide, but that's up to Grace.
My current list of who's in the best position to get to the FTC:
1. Spencer
2. Torry
3. Jessie
4. Brandon (due to his eventual weakening if/when Sam goes home)
5. Alex (mostly due to his game being over)
6. Devon (because people aren't seeing him)
7. Grace (I think she will survive tonight, but things aren't looking good for her after that)
8. Sam (everyone knows she's been playing the best/most aggressive game and want her gone)
Tonight should be good!
